About - Brad Peck

Hello, my name is Brad.

I believe passionate, dedicated and hard working people are found in garages, race shops and speedways everywhere. Men and women devoting their time and energy towards one goal, winning. Their passion is evident from grassroots warriors to multi-million dollar touring teams. It's clear that people have an unwavering love for speed and automobiles. My goal is to visually tell their stories of hard work, dedication and love. This website features photos from my adventures, in search of those stories.

A little about me.

Race tracks, race cars and race fuel.

The state of Wisconsin has some of the most storied and exciting short tracks in the United States and I grew up attending many of them. At age 9, Angell Park in Sun Prairie was my first speedway experience. Over the next several years, I watched asphalt warriors battle on Madison International, Slinger Speedway and WIR. I became addicted to the smell of racing fuel and the sound of wide open throttles. As a young adult, I worked on the scoring team at Dodge County Speedway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. It's there that I fell in love with dirt racing.

Live to love and love what you do.

As a kid, I developed a fascination with art and knew that I wanted to be a designer. I've worked professionally as a designer for over 15 years and been involved with many rewarding projects. It’s satisfying to bring ideas to life and inspire an audience. Since my start as a designer, I’ve expanded into video production and photography. I’ve learned so much in my career and appreciate the opportunities I’ve had.

In 2017, I started Gasroots Project with the goal of strengthening and growing grassroots racing through compelling photography and films. I saw the need to be an advocate for the sport I love and the people that make it what it is. Five different Wisconsin tracks were featured in the first year, with 23 drivers and seven teams telling their story.
